Grandma

I received a phone call this evening that my Grandma fell down the basement stairs and fractured her neck. She is being Transferred to Theda Clark for a trauma team to be there and they are going to take more xrays to determine if it is broken. Praying that everything is all right.

Grandma We love you.

** Grandma does have a fractured neck. She fractured C1. She will be in the hospital for a few days and then possible going to nursing home or home. She also has a banged up knee and arm and will get some stiches. The Trauma doctor said that she is a very lucky lady and that she was not hurt worse or broke her neck enough to kill her. She was so lucky. We love you Grandma and want you around for a few more years. Love you.

Mom and I took Caitlyn in to get her hair professional cut to fix her homemade hair cut. They had to go really short. They tried several different ways to style her hair to still keep it long but all you kept seeing was chopped out spots. So this is the final result. Not what Mom whated but I guess it will grow back like everyone keeps saying. My kids are going to put me into a early grave. Aughh.

Homemade Hair Cut

Caitlyn decided that she needed a hair cut. This is what I found.

When I got upstaris this is what I found that Caitlyn had done. She had decided to give herself a homemade hair cut. I can only hope that the salon can fix it tomorrow. This could not come at a better time. We are having Family pictures on thanksgiving Day. She planned that one well. She is not upset but Mom is very upset and was hysterical on the phone to Grandma and Daddy.

McKenna

I took Mckenna into the ER tonight. She has been a bear to live with and I was thinking she had ear infection or Strep throat again. Well she has an ear infection and a upper respitory infection. Hopefully she will be better by this this coming weekend as we are going up north for the guys to go 4-wheeling.

Halloween 2008

Here is my little chicken and Lamb. Mckenna was not feeling well so did not want to take pictures. We started out with Mckenna in the stroller and we gave her a little pumpkin bag to hold for candy. She would not let it go for us to empty it when it was full. She then was carried to the door by Grandpa Marx who went with us or by daddy. By the last few houses she knew what to do and was walking up to the doors. Caitlyn did really well and had to be reminded a couple times to say Trick or Treat and Thank You but she did really well.

Childrens Museum picture overload

On friday 10/24 the girls and I took mom out to breakfast for her birthday. After breakfast we all went to the Childrens Museum for some fun.

Happy Birthday Mom (Grandma)

Happy Birthday today to my mom. I will be nice and not post how old you are today. We will just say 28 like you told Caitlyn.
